About the role



This is an exciting time to join the OT Cyber Team as you will have the opportunity to work on Global OT Cyber initiatives across Iberdrola and will be a focal point for new project activity. 
You’ll  encompass Cyber Security in both Informational and Operational Technologies (IT & OT), however, the focus shall be on advising the project teams responsible for the delivery of the OT equipment to ensure compliance with the local businesses OT Management System through all phases of the project cycle.


You’ll support the development of the OT Cyber Management Procedures and Policies in each of the local business areas, the Offshore Renewables supplies and operation of windfarms, ensuring compliance throughout the Offshore business.


Working as part of a global business with activities in many countries across Europe and the rest of the world, there will be the need for frequent travel to various locations in the UK and overseas and due to large geographical scope covered you will be capable of managing teams working at different project locations.


This is a fantastic opportunity to join the team and report to the Systems Integration (SI) Team Lead within Offshore Project Services Engineering department, who can support and develop you in your career at Scottish Power.

About you



We are interested in hearing from individuals who have experience of working within a Cyber Security/Cyber Threat landscape background, who can bring practical experience of deploying and implementing security led projects along with good verbal and written communication skills, to carry out reporting and representation at various senior/board level meetings and with the regulator.

Experienced in your field, holding a BSc/BEng/MSc/MEng in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Control, Computer Science or similar discipline, along with practical experience gained in a core engineering environment. 


Ideally, you will have a mix of experience across electrical power systems, IT communications, controls systems and software development, within utilities or similar sized organisations.



You’ll be an expert in the technical understanding of SCADA, ISO 27001 gained through practical experience in a working environment and confident in your knowledge of the software engineering lifecycle and documentation process for design, development, and support, with the ability to devise solutions to complex problems/challenges.



Offering a structured and methodical approach to your work, with excellent time management, to execute allocated work, recording and reporting progress to the designated Project Manager to ensure business needs are being met.


What We Offer

This is a Permanent contract. With a salary from £48,080 per annum, a performance related bonus up to 15%, Single Health Cover and Pension contribution up to 10%.
