Business Analyst

Glasgow, G2 5AD / Hybrid
Salary circa £30,000-£50,000 per annum (depending on experience)

The Team
At ScottishPower, we are facing many challenges and are committed to continually improving our processes and technology to support our customers. You will be part of the Centre of Excellence, which is a multi-discipline engineering team of around 100 talented individuals. We drive the delivery of software solutions to meet the fast-moving needs of the business. We are looking for like-minded people to join us on our journey.
 

What you’ll be doing
Our Business Analysts work closely with the business teams on problems, which are often complex and difficult to solve. They lead the implementation of the solution with the developers and technical teams.

What you’ll bring

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience 
• Experience of delivering software solutions in a corporate or start-up engineering environment, or equivalent
• A passion for technology and some experience using industry-standard programming languages
• Ability to explain complicated concepts to our business teams
