What you’ll be doing
As SHEQ Systems Lead, you will develop, maintain and continually improve the IMS (Integrated Management System) within ScottishPower Transmission Projects (SPT Projects), ensuring all requirements of ISO 9001, 14001 & 18001 are in place and all responsible persons are aware of their accountabilities.

 

Establishing, communicating and continually improving IMS processes, including management of process flow mapping of the business and associated documentation, you will hold responsibility and authority for the business IMS complying with appropriate external accreditation with respect to HSEQ e.g. ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001.

 

Establishing and maintaining a risk management framework, you will be responsible for monitoring and reporting senior management status against business H&S, Quality and Environmental objectives.

 

Developing planned inspections within the business against compliance with the IMS, including follow up reports and communication with affected delivery units, you will maintain an annual plan of internal audits against the IMS and wider requirements of external accreditations whilst developing, implementing, promoting and managing the lessons learned process including periodic performance reports to demonstrate effectiveness of the process.

 

Acting as a centralised function for the coordination of non-conformities and corrective actions, you will define and manage/coordinate the document management system, acting as single point of co-ordination for all HSEQ monthly statistical analysis and reporting.

 

Creating processes maps for the SPT projects business in Microsoft Visio and delivering training on all new process virtually or via classroom sessions as required.

 

What you’ll bring
Minimum HNC Qualification, you will possess ISO 9001,14001 & 18001 system implementation / management experience with proven technical experience in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil construction works.

 

Possessing a Lead Auditor qualification with considerable auditing experience, you will hold experience of Quality Management in an Engineering and Construction environment.

 

Displaying excellent written and verbal communication skill, you will be a strong influencer with consulting/communication skills.

 

With the ability to lead and work as part of a team, you will have collaborated with suppliers in an engineering and construction environment, working with portfolios of projects.
