Responsibilities
HYBRID Position
This position is responsible for the financial budgeting and reporting
processes for Avangrid Networks. This includes
performance analysis and key performance reporting for Avangrid Networks and its
affiliates. This position will lead financial analysis and research
projects regarding business issues to provide top management with
financial data and business advice to support the key business
objectives for Avangrid.
MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Key participant in the affiliate financial planning process
including developing, reviewing and communicating financial data to
management and key stakeholders.
2. Conducts assessments of affiliate level performance as compared
to corporate budgets/forecasts and goals.
3. Guides budget/forecast changes and responds to budget/forecast
inquiries from Business financial coordinators.
4. Organize moderate and complex financial analysis, business
analysis, profitability and cost analysis projects and present to
management.
5. Prepares monthly variance reports on a variety of financial
information at the direction of the Control Management.
6. Develops and reviews financial planning, financial statements and
modeling for both regulated and non-regulated affiliates as needed.
7. Communicates financial results performance to both control
management and senior management.
Skills and Requirements
Experience with Financial Modeling.
Excellent analytical ability.
Experience with Alteryx and Power BI preferred.
CPA Preferred.
Strong team player.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
Minimum of 5 years of financial experience, including financial
analysis/modeling and corporate business accounting experience.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field required.
