Responsibilities

This position is responsible for assisting with the automation of financial budgeting and reporting processes at Avangrid Networks. Additionally, this role will support the analysis and key performance reporting for Avangrid Networks and its affiliates. This position will lead financial analysis and planning process improvement projects to help provide top management with financial data and business advice to support the key business objectives for Avangrid.
MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Key participant in the automation development of financial planning and reporting processes including preparing financial reports, analysis and communicating financial data to management and key stakeholders.
2. Prepares monthly variance reports on a variety of financial information at the direction of Networks Business Analysis and Planning management including performance as compared to budgets/forecasts and goals.
3. Utilizes Alteryx to review and maintain financial analysis workflows. 
4. Organizes moderate and complex financial analysis, business
analysis, profitability, and cost analysis projects and present to
management using Power BI.
5. Prepares monthly variance reports on a variety of financial
information at the direction of the Control Management.
6. Develops and reviews financial planning, financial statements and
modeling for both regulated and non-regulated affiliates as needed.
7. Communicates financial results performance to both control
management and senior management.
 

Skills and Requirements

Experience with Financial Modeling.
• Excellent analytical ability.
• Advanced Excel preferred.
• Experience with Alteryx and Power BI preferred.
• CPA/MBA Preferred.
• Strong team player.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
• Minimum of 5 years of financial experience, including financial
analysis/modeling and corporate business accounting experience.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field required.
